Writters block.

At the air show.

Me my daughter and my grandson were at the Sunderland air show. They had the Red Arrows there and one of the planes was open for children to jump on.
It was a nice day out.

Some photo's.

I've not really thought of anything to write about just lately, I'm just not having any inspiration.
Anyway I've come home tonight having been out with Malcolm ( we always go out on Tuesdays) and fell across a folder with 3 photo's in.
There are no rhyme nor reason as to why they should be in the same folder. There are no other pictures in the folder.
Anyway, here they are.

The first one is me and my Daughter at Glastonbury. I only went twice but on this occasion I took my daughter.

It was great fun, fires at night, music all day. She's about 14. I was a single parent which is quite rare for the man to be the only parent. She was the boss but she let me think I was in charge.

This photo was in 1971. The other man ( boy really) was in the army with me. He was part of our gang. We always got picked for unusual things like being in the boxing team, or going skiing in Bavaria. On this occasion we were sent on a sailing training course on the Corp yatch.

We thought it was going to be hell, it turned out to be the best holiday you could have. We sailed from Kiel in Germany all the way up Denmark and back down. Fantastic.

This last one was about 1960. We lived in Taiping in Malaya. My mother wanted to take a photo and said 'Do something' so I was handed a comic ( my sisters Judy, a girls comic).

It was a great place to live, we had a swimming pool just behind where I'm sitting ( behind the brown hut in the distance).
The jungle was only about 100 mtrs to my left, we would go and play in the jungle, there were monkeys in the tree's and the occasional snake.

Once when there was a jungle fire we had to be evacuated because of all the wild life coming out of the jungle.

I'll try and write more, but until I get settled in next door I'm not sure.

Good night.
