Back on drugs again.

A danger to shipping.

 We did not have much work on today and ended up looking at the roof next door, I'm the landlord and the woman next door thought she had a damp patch. So while Mick went up I made myself busy doing this and that.

Mick came down and told me that we needed a couple of slates and because we do odd jobs I had a few behind the shed.
He did a good job, he always does. To help I took the big ladders to the van, half way there I thought I would get the spare ladders (these sit under the big ladders on the van). So normally the ladders are lifted straight onto the van but because I wanted to get the other ladders off I put them on the ground.
That's when the two bottom pieces of ladder fell on my toe. '*******ng **ll'.

We sat and had a cuppa, what else can you do when your nervous system is ripping your body apart?
The toe has gone black. The doctors is less than 400 yards from my house so I went. He's given me 84 (strange number) codeine. In England you can only get these on prescription.
So I will not be playing for England in this championship, and on the next one I'll be 64 so I may have missed out.

The party.

At the party on Saturday night, with a ton of beer swilling around. Tina and me got to talking about what we really want to do with the rest of our lives and the subject of art school came up.
I would love to go to collage and study art. Anyway she likes to play to my desires but she got me thinking.
I may just do it. I've wanted it all my life and I have the time.
It is a little like my life is in reverse but I'm still getting older.

The party.

It was a three way party, but my invite was form Jimmy the actor. The best thespian in England, no the world.
Anyway at some point in the party Jimmy, Dave (is acting partner, they work together a lot) and me were talking and I had said I'll write a mini play.
Immediately they asked if it could be done in a month. Yikey.
Why? Because there is a exhibition of work in two months and they would need a month to learn it.
I've got the plot. They want 25% dialogue for Dave 75% for Jimmy and lots of face for Dave. They know what they want.
This blog may go quiet.

England are through to the next round, I'm still pretending I don't care, once my heart has slowed down.
