Kippers for breakfast.

Well the house stinks of kippers, but it's worth it. Grilled kippers with fresh bread and a cup of tea with 3 sugars ( just recently added one sugar ). It's strange to be eating something that has eye's looking at you on the plate and must be sickening for vegetarians to read this, sorry.

I love Sundays even though I'm off work all the time it's still a good day. Today I'm off to the Cummby early to sing, drink and socialise. There is a feeling of well-being in Newcastle at the moment, the football team is flying having won 6 straight games on the trot and managed to get themselves into 4th place. Big money. I've got a ticket for the last home game of the season, Manchester City (2nd place) and having already seen Newcastle beat Manchester United and Liverpool at home this year I'm looking forward to it.

No sign of the Blue Tits but it is cold and damp here (improving) they just switch off when it's cold.

It's less than 2 weeks till I go to America for the first time in my life, something I have wanted to do for years. This will be my 3rd holiday since Christmas, having been to Cornwall for 10 days and skiing in France for a week. What a life.

The only fly in ointment at the moment is my home recording stuff, I met Frank at the football yesterday and he's going to have a look at it. What are technical friends for (I do jobs for him, so it's not all oneway).
