Bad news.

devastated.

I'm devastated, I just checked my email before I went skiing. Just a quick look before I go.

Message from Northumbria Uni, 'Your status has changed'.

I was trembling as as I trolled through the menu's.

I could not find out what was the change of status.

Eventually I fell across the bland statement   .................  'Un ................. (I'm trying to remember the words) ........................... Un .......................... Unsuccessful .........................

I've never been Unsuccessful in my life  ............................................... I read it again ....................................  yes ............................ unsuccessful  ...........................

There were no words of  'try again' or you 'hit the cross bar' just UNSUCCESSFUL  ...........................

I've had many fall downs, I pick myself up, dust myself down, have a piss, wipe the blood away, order another drink. ......................................... I'LL BE BACK.

But right at this moment, right at this moment, on the eve of me going skiing and all sorts of other things going well, I'm a bit down.

I'm off to bed, a bit drunk, a bit down, but ..................................... like a rubber ball, I'll be back.
